Mud mixing hopper is a Venturi hopper that is used to add
dry mud chemicals powders into the mud system. Properly
engineered hoppers ensure the highest discharge
pressures, solid addition rates, and shear rates. The 4″ and
6″ hoppers are commonly selected to work with a shear pump
or centrifuge pump to assist in conditioning and mixing fresh
drilling mud. The unit consists of a stack table, nozzle, flange, etc.
